Yesterday I had a follow up appointment with my retina specialist. The bleeding in my eye is gone and the inflammation is down. No more shots! Unless it starts up again......

Here is the scan from June - you can see where the arched area is to the left of the green line. That is where all the problems were located.

And here is the scan from yesterday....it's pretty much what a normal macula is supposed to look like. There is some remaining scar tissue and I still have a small area where it is hard to see but it doesn't bother me unless I'm only using the left eye.

What a difference! I'm so glad I decided to go forward with the Avastin injections. I would definately tell anyone with my condition to definately give it a try.
