I got up at 4am and headed over to his house to pick him and my sister Trina up for the drive to the hospital. He was all business, LOL! I spent some time with him Wednesday evening and he was in great spirits and this morning he was rearing to go when I got there.
The mediastinum lymph nodes were clear of cancer so they proceeded with the thoracotomy and lobectomy. He did very well during the surgery but had a little trouble recovering from the general anesthesia but other than that, there wasn't anything remarkable about the surgery.
We feel so blessed that our prayers have been answered! Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts :)
